International Conference of Blue Economy and Sustainability (ICBES)

In light of the accelerating global transition toward building a sustainable Blue Economy, the International Conference on Blue Economy and Sustainability serves as a leading international platform that brings together distinguished researchers, academics, industry experts, policymakers, innovators, and development partners from around the world. The conference aims to promote knowledge exchange, showcase the latest scientific achievements, and discuss innovative solutions that support the sustainable management of marine and water resources.

The conference is organized by Suez University in collaboration with Shanghai Ocean University and the African Union – Interafrican Bureau for Animal Resources (AU-IBAR), and will be held from 19–21 October 2026 in Ain Sokhna, Arab Republic of Egypt.

The conference holds particular significance due to Egypt's strategic position as the gateway to Africa and a vital link connecting Africa, Asia, and Europe. Egypt also plays a pivotal role in promoting regional and international cooperation, making it an ideal destination for strengthening scientific partnerships, exchanging knowledge, transferring technology, and building capacities that contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals across the African continent.
